SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Camk2b (calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II beta) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Camk2b qPCR Primer Set – calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II beta
Also known as: Ck2b
About this gene: Camk2b enables calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase activity; phospholipase binding activity; and protein kinase binding activity. A structural constituent of postsynaptic actin cytoskeleton. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to homocysteine; hippocampal neuron apoptotic process; and regulation of synapse organization.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24245; UniProt: P08413; Chromosome location: 14q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
