SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Calb1 (calbindin 1, also called D-28K) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Calb1 qPCR Primer Set – calbindin 1
Also known as: CaBP28K
About this gene: Calb1 enables calcium ion binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cochlea development; regulation of synaptic plasticity; and response to auditory stimulus. Is active in calyx of Held; postsynaptic cytosol; and presynaptic cytosol.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83839; UniProt: P07171; Chromosome location: 5q13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
