SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Bdnf (brain-derived neurotrophic factor, also called proBDNF) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Bdnf qPCR Primer Set – brain-derived neurotrophic factor
About this gene: Bdnf enables neurotrophin TRKB receptor binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including behavioral response to cocaine; neuron projection development; and regulation of neuronal synaptic plasticity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24225; UniProt: P23363; Chromosome location: 3q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
