SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Apod (apolipoprotein D, also called Apo-D) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Apod qPCR Primer Set – apolipoprotein D
Also known as: AOPDGN
About this gene: Apod is predicted to enable cholesterol binding activity. It is involved in peripheral nervous system axon regeneration; response to xenobiotic stimulus; and tissue regeneration.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25239; UniProt: P23593; Chromosome location: 11q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
