SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Aldh1a1 (aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 family, member A1, also called ALHDII) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Aldh1a1 qPCR Primer Set – aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 family, member A1
Also known as: Ahd2, Aldh1, Aldh2
About this gene: Aldh1a1 enables benzaldehyde dehydrogenase activity; identical protein binding activity; and retinal dehydrogenase activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including estrous cycle; maintenance of lens transparency; and retinoic acid metabolic process. Predicted to be active in cytosol.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24188; UniProt: P51647; Chromosome location: 1q51
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
