SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Akap1 (A-kinase anchoring protein 1, also called PRKA1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Akap1 qPCR Primer Set – A-kinase anchoring protein 1
Also known as: AKAP 121, Akap84, D-AKAP-1, PRKA1, S-AKAP84
About this gene: Akap1 enables protein kinase A regulatory subunit binding activity; protein kinase binding activity; and tubulin binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to cAMP; negative regulation of cell growth involved in cardiac muscle cell development; and negative regulation of protein import into nucleus. Is active in neuromuscular junction and postsynaptic specialization, intracellular component.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 114124; UniProt: O88884; Chromosome location: 10q26
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
