SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Fabp5 (fatty acid binding protein 5, also called DA11) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Fabp5 qPCR Primer Set – fatty acid binding protein 5
Also known as: C-FABP, DA11, E-FABP
About this gene: Fabp5 enables fatty acid binding activity. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including lipid transport across blood-brain barrier; positive regulation of cold-induced thermogenesis; and positive regulation of peroxisome proliferator activated receptor signaling pathway. It is predicted to act upstream of or within multiple processes, including glucose homeostasis; negative regulation of D-glucose transmembrane transport; and phosphatidylcholine biosynthetic process.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 140868; UniProt: P55053; Chromosome location: 2q23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
