SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Esr2 (estrogen receptor 2, also called ER-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Esr2 qPCR Primer Set – estrogen receptor 2
Also known as: ER-beta, ERbeta, Erb2
About this gene: Esr2 enables multiple functions, including DNA-binding transcription factor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific; estrogen response element binding activity; and steroid binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including brain development; regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II; and reproductive structure development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25149; UniProt: Q62986; Chromosome location: 6q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
