SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Esr1 (estrogen receptor 1, also called ER-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Esr1 qPCR Primer Set – estrogen receptor 1
Also known as: ER-alpha, Esr, RNESTROR
About this gene: Esr1 enables multiple functions, including estrogen binding activity; phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase regulatory subunit binding activity; and promoter-specific chromatin binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including negative regulation of apoptotic process; positive regulation of signal transduction; and reproductive structure development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 24890; UniProt: P06211; Chromosome location: 1q11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
