SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Eif2b1 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B subunit alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Eif2b1 qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B subunit alpha
Also known as: eIF-2a
About this gene: Eif2b1 enables GDP binding activity; GTP binding activity; and translation initiation factor activity. Contributes to guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including negative regulation of guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor activity; response to amino acid starvation; and response to glucose.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64514; UniProt: Q64270; Chromosome location: 12q15
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
