SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Afm (afamin, also called Alpha-Alb) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Afm qPCR Primer Set – afamin
About this gene: Afm is predicted to enable vitamin E binding activity. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including protein stabilization; protein transport within extracellular region; and vitamin transport.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 282708; UniProt: P36953; Chromosome location: 14p22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
