SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Egln1 (egl-9 family hypoxia-inducible factor 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Egln1 qPCR Primer Set – egl-9 family hypoxia-inducible factor 1
Also known as: HIF-PH2, HPH-2, PHD-2, PHD2
About this gene: Egln1 encodes a component of a transcriptional complex that plays a central role in mammalian oxygen homeostasis. Hypoxia reduces the activity of prolyl hyxroxylases that hydroxylate specific proline residues of the hypoxia-inducible factor-1a. In the absence of hydroxylation, the Hif1a transcription factor accumulates and activates transcription of hypoxia-responsive target genes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 308913; Chromosome location: 19q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
