SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Eef2 (eukaryotic translation elongation factor 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Eef2 qPCR Primer Set – eukaryotic translation elongation factor 2
Also known as: Ef-2
About this gene: Eef2 enables multiple functions, including 5S rRNA binding activity; actin filament binding activity; and p53 binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including cellular response to brain-derived neurotrophic factor stimulus; positive regulation of cytoplasmic translation; and response to ischemia. Is active in glutamatergic synapse.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29565; UniProt: P05197; Chromosome location: 7q11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
