SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat E2f8 (E2F transcription factor 8) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat E2f8 qPCR Primer Set – E2F transcription factor 8
Also known as: E2F-8, RGD1308091
About this gene: E2f8 is predicted to enable DNA-binding transcription repressor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific; RNA polymerase II cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity; and identical protein binding activity. It is predicted to be involved in multiple processes, including hepatocyte differentiation; regulation of cell cycle process; and regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Predicted to act upstream of or within cell population proliferation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 308607; Chromosome location: 1q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
