SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Drd5 (dopamine receptor D5) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Drd5 qPCR Primer Set – dopamine receptor D5
Also known as: D1B
About this gene: Drd5 enables G-protein alpha-subunit binding activity and dopamine neurotransmitter receptor activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including adenylate cyclase-activating dopamine receptor signaling pathway; negative regulation of protein kinase activity; and visual learning. It acts upstream of or within adenylate cyclase-activating G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25195; UniProt: P25115; Chromosome location: 14q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
