SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Dcp2 (decapping mRNA 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Dcp2 qPCR Primer Set – decapping mRNA 2
Also known as: RGD1562909
About this gene: Dcp2 is predicted to enable 5'-(N-methylguanosine 5'-triphospho)-[mRNA] hydrolase activity; 5'-3' RNA exonuclease activity; and telomerase RNA binding activity. It is predicted to be involved in negative regulation of telomere maintenance via telomerase; nuclear-transcribed mRNA catabolic process; and regulation of telomerase RNA localization to Cajal body. Predicted to be active in P-body.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 291604; Chromosome location: 18q11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
