SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Ctsk (cathepsin K) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Ctsk qPCR Primer Set – cathepsin K
About this gene: Ctsk is predicted to enable multiple functions, including collagen binding activity; cysteine-type endopeptidase activity; and fibronectin binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including bone resorption; cellular response to transforming growth factor beta stimulus; and cellular response to zinc ion starvation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29175; UniProt: O35186; Chromosome location: 2q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
