SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting rat Chrna2 (cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 2 subunit) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Rat Chrna2 qPCR Primer Set – cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 2 subunit
Also known as: ACHR
About this gene: Chrna2 enables acetylcholine-gated monoatomic cation-selective channel activity; heterocyclic compound binding activity; and quaternary ammonium group binding activity. It is involved in cellular response to nicotine; modulation of inhibitory postsynaptic potential; and response to acetylcholine.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 170945; UniProt: P12389; Chromosome location: 15p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
