SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting mouse Dnmt3b (DNA methyltransferase 3B, also called M.MmuIIIB) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Mouse Dnmt3b qPCR Primer Set – DNA methyltransferase 3B
Also known as: MmuIIIB
About this gene: This is one of two related genes encoding de novo DNA methyltransferases, which are responsible for the establishment of DNA methylation patterns in embryos. Loss of function of Dnmt3b leads to severe developmental defects and loss of viability. Mutation of the related gene in humans causes immunodeficiency-centromeric instability-facial anomalies syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 13436; UniProt: O88509; Chromosome location: 2 H1|2 75.79 cM
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
