About this gene: KCNIP1 belongs to the family of cytosolic voltage-gated potassium channel-interacting proteins, which belong to the neuronal calcium sensor family of the calcium binding EF-hand proteins. They associate with Kv4 alpha subunits to form native Kv4 channel complexes. The KCNIP1 protein may regulate rapidly inactivating currents, and hence neuronal membrane excitability, in response to changes in the concentration of intracellular calcium.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
