SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human JAM3 (junctional adhesion molecule 3, also called JAM-C) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human JAM3 qPCR Primer Set – junctional adhesion molecule 3
Also known as: JAM-2, JAM-3, JAM-C, JAMC
About this gene: Tight junctions represent one mode of cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial or endothelial cell sheets, forming continuous seals around cells and serving as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space. The protein encoded by this immunoglobulin superfamily gene member is localized in the tight junctions between high endothelial cells. Unlike other proteins in this family, the this protein is unable to adhere to leukocyte cell lines and only forms weak homotypic interactions.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 83700; HGNC ID: HGNC:15532; UniProt: Q9BX67; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032801.5; Chromosome location: 11q25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
