About this gene: FUT1 encodes a Golgi stack membrane protein that is involved in the creation of a precursor of the H antigen, which is required for the final step in the synthesis of soluble A and B antigens. This is one of two genes encoding the galactoside 2-L-fucosyltransferase enzyme. Mutations in FUT1 are a cause of the H-Bombay blood group.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
