SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CASQ1 (calsequestrin 1, also called Calmitine) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CASQ1 qPCR Primer Set – calsequestrin 1
Also known as: CASQ, CSQ1, PDIB1, VMCQA
About this gene: CASQ1 encodes a skeletal muscle specific member of the calsequestrin protein family. Calsequestrin acts as a luminal sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium sensor in both cardiac and skeletal muscle cells. This protein, also known as calmitine, acts as a calcium regulator in the mitochondria of skeletal muscle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 844; HGNC ID: HGNC:1512; UniProt: P31415; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001231.5; Chromosome location: 1q23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
