SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CAPN2 (calpain 2, also called M-calpain) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CAPN2 qPCR Primer Set – calpain 2
Also known as: CANP2, CANPL2, CANPml, mCANP
About this gene: The calpains, calcium-activated neutral proteases, are nonlysosomal, intracellular cysteine proteases. The mammalian calpains include ubiquitous, stomach-specific, and muscle-specific proteins. The ubiquitous enzymes consist of heterodimers with distinct large, catalytic subunits linked to a common small, regulatory subunit.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 824; HGNC ID: HGNC:1479; UniProt: P17655; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001748.5; Chromosome location: 1q41
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
